As its second objective AuthOMath provides a concise didactic concept (DiCo) for designing effective digital learning material.

Combining the strengths of STACK and GeoGebra results in an authoring platform with new opportunities. Exploring new opportunities needs to be accompagnied by didactic reflection on how to use them for fostering learning best.

Drawing from these new affordances, and structured along the well-known TPACK model, our DiCo addresses among others the following issues:

  • CK: analysis of the task content, its requirements to understanding and possible solution space
  • PCK: analysis of appropriate approaches to the learning object as well as learners’ possible conceptions and misconceptions
  • TCK and TPK: analysis of affordances and constraints of using STACK & GeoGebra for addressing the learning object in an educational setting
  • TK: Programming knowledge for STACK & GeoGebra

DiCo is the conceptual basis of moodle courses on digital task design in teacher education, soon to be published for use.
